Cargo Loader

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Cargo Loader:

• Loading and unloading cargo ships and tractor trailer trucks at the Port of Panama City Florida
• This is long term temporary work and not seasonal
• You have the opportunity to work 40 hours a week throughout the entire year
• We have workers that are in their second year with the same assignment
• We have both men and women that work this assignment
• The job is labor intense, and you cannot be a lazy person so if you are not a hard worker that can endure the daily grind this assignment is not for you
• When you start a shift, you are expected to complete that shift

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• You must be reliable and have excellent attendance including arriving to work on time and not missing days that you have agreed to work and accepted the assignment for that day
• For the days that you have accepted the assignment you are expected to show up
• We monitor all attendance occurrences and disciplinary action will be taken for late call outs and no calls no shows that included suspensions and up to termination

• You must have reliable transportation preferably your own motor vehicle
