The Director of Global Security, based in Houston, TX, and reporting to the SVP of EH&S, Global Supply Chain, Midstream & Marketing, leads the company’s physical security program across a global footprint including the United States, Egypt, United Kingdom, Suriname, and other exploration areas. The role is accountable for safeguarding personnel, facilities, and operations from physical, reputational, and regulatory risks. This position requires a leader who can operate at both the strategic and operational levels - setting direction, building capability, and ensuring consistent execution across diverse regions. The Director serves as a senior advisor to the business on security risk and resilience, translating global threat dynamics into clear, actionable guidance for leadership and operations. The ideal candidate brings experience leading security in complex international environments, paired with strong business judgment, executive communication skills, and the ability to build trusted partnerships across functions and geographies. Backgrounds in federal law enforcement, diplomatic service, military operations, or government agencies preferred. Candidates should additionally have private sector experience and demonstrate business acumen, collaboration, and strong communication skills. The position requires balancing operational rigor with strategic alignment and stakeholder engagement.
