• $115,000 - $130,000 + 12.5% Bonus + Relocation Assistance

We are working with an established food manufacturing company based in Jonesboro, AR. They are recruiting an EHS Manager to join their team on a day shift role in return for a salary in the region of $115,000 - $130,000 plus a 12.5% bonus, along with excellent employment benefits and relocation assistance. This role will also oversee an on-site wastewater treatment plant, providing a unique opportunity to lead both safety and environmental programs.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Serve as a key member of the factory leadership team, helping set strategic direction and site safety vision
• Develop, implement, and coordinate plant and distribution center safety and health programs
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations
• Manage implementation of the company’s internal EHS management system
• Coordinate strategies, budgets, and programs for personnel safety, regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, sustainability, loss control, and regulatory reporting
• Provide leadership in behavior-based safety, crisis management, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support and maintain food safety and quality practices in line with SQF requirements
• Lead accident investigations and oversee OSHA recordkeeping, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs
• Oversee facility wastewater treatment plant operations and ensure compliance with discharge requirements
• Support internal and external audits and develop continuous EHS improvement plans

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of health, safety, and environmental management experience in a manufacturing environment (multi-plant experience desirable)
• Experience in program development, training creation/delivery, safety audits, behavioral safety, ergonomics, and wastewater treatment
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers’ compensation processes, and incident management
