Job Duties/Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the operations of the housekeeping and laundry department, including management of staff and procedures. Must have a thorough understanding of infection control requirements in skilled nursing facilities in Washington state. This individual is responsible for staff scheduling and supply ordering for the department, and must keep organized records and documentation of inventory. This position is responsible for reaching out to vendors as needed for any work requiring a high level of expertise on equipment repairs. Must have an understanding of budget parameters. This individual oversees all employees in the housekeeping and laundry department.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have excellent communication skills and have experience in housekeeping management. Must be familiar with skilled nursing and common infection control procedures. Prior experience as a supervisor preferred.
