Under the supervision of the Research Scientist Supervisor II, and in close collaboration with the Transgender, Gender Diverse, and Intersex (TGI) Health Research and Evaluation Scientist (Research Scientist Staff), the incumbent plans, organizes, and carries out scientific research of limited scope and complexity related to health and health equity of TGI populations. The incumbent serves as a member of a multi-disciplinary team with the Office of Health Equity (OHE) Gender Health Equity Section (GHES), contributing to the research and evaluation for a complex statewide grant program (the Two Spirit, Transgender, Gender Nonconforming and Intersex Wellness and Equity Fund, “2TGI Fund”). The incumbent will contribute to the design, implementation, analyses, and conclusions drawn from evaluation studies. The incumbent is responsible for co-authoring reports requiring interpretation and clear summarization of results of complex program evaluation, the results of which will be used in educating the public on TGI health and developing new, effective public health prevention programs focused on TGI communities.
This position is a 12-month Limited Term (LT) and may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
